Dr. Shatanu Lahkar was born in Dec’1951 and has a brilliant academic record. He completed his MBBS from Assam Medical College in 1973 and M.S. (Orthopaedics) from “ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, New Delhi” in 1978.
He has written many articles which are published in leading national orthopaedic journals. He is also the Co-writer of a chapter in orthopaedic text book called “Clinical Orthopaedic and Related Research” which is well recognised in medical colleges in India and across Asian countries.
He is a life member of more than 25 Orthopaedic Associations in India and abroad.
He has served as President of NEROSA and President of Indian Orthopaedic Rheumatology Association. He was also the founding President of North East Spine Society.
Apart from being the co-founder of Archana Trauma and Orthopaedics Hospital, he is also the co-founder of Shishu Bharati Institute of Professional Education (SIPE Law College, Shreebharati Collge and Sishu Bharati School at Dibrugarh).
In February'2018, Dr Shantanu Lahkar was nominated by Govt. of India as Executive Member of Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi (A Statutory Body of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment).
Amit Kapoor
Chief Executive Officer
After spending 11 years at Citibank, Amit Kapoor joined Archana Trauma and Orthoapedics Hospital in 2016. At Citibank, he was a part of the retail asset S&D franchise within the Consumer bank.
In his last role at Citibank as Assistant Vice President, he was managing retail assets and liability products of Consumer Banking domain i.e. acquisition of Personal Loans, Mortgages and Citigold Accounts at Bangalore, having Affluent Segment Bankers and other outsourced sales staff under his management.
Presently, as CEO of Archana Trauma and Orthopaedics Hospital, his role involves management and oversight of all functions of the hospital. Apart from being the CEO of Archana Hospital, he is also a Member Board of Trustees of Shreebharati Institute of Professional Education (SIPE Law College).
Academically, Amit Kapoor is an MBA (Marketing) from VTU and MBA (Hospital and Healthcare System Management) from BITS, Pilani.
Dr P. C. BuragohainMBBS (AMC, Dibrugarh, Assam)
Medical Superintendent
Dr P. C. Buragohain brings an experience of over 5 decades as medical professional with him. Dr Buragohain joined Archana Trauma and Orthopaedics Hospital as Medical Superintendent in January’2001. Before joining Archana Hospital, he worked as Principal Medical Officer at Central Hospital, APJ Group of Tea Industries, Assam.
Dr Buragohain supervises daily medical functions of the hospital with the assistance of support staff.
Academically, Dr Buragohain has completed his MBBS from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh in 1965. He has also done his Senior Housemanship for 1 year in the Dept of OBG at AMC Dibrugarh
Norender N. Goswami
Chief Administrative Officer
Mr N. N. Goswami joined Archana Trauma and Orthopaedics Hospital as Chief Administrative Officer in 2010. Mr Goswami comes with over 40 years of corporate experience. Before joining Archana Hospital, he worked with GlaxoSmithKline for over 35 years in Sales and Marketing domain.
Mr Goswami manages the Administrative and HR functions of the Hospital. Academically, Mr Goswami has done his Masters Degree in Botany from Gauhati University.
